Bob is an area native. He was born and raised in Clearwater. The third generation of this family business, his B-21 career started after graduating from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1979. Bob has managed B-21 since 1981. As B-21's lead fine wine buyer in France, Italy, Australia, Spain, South Africa and New Zealand, Bob visits these countries each year tasting thousands of wines. Extensive traveling has made B-21 well known throughout the wine-world.
Bob has 4 children; Shannon-25, Rob-23 (USN), Ashley-Ann -21 (Lynchburg College), and Shaun-17. When he's not traveling to the world's best vineyards, Bob enjoys reading, riding his motorcycle, wake-boarding and wake-surfing on Lake Tarpon.

Shannon

Shannon is Florida born and B-21 raised. Since the age of 10 she has accompanied her father throughout the years on many buying trips all over world gaining knowledge on wine, food, and culture. Learning about the best from the best, Shannon shares her father’s love for Champagne, Bordeaux and Burgundy. Shannon graduated from Florida State University with a degree in English Literature and a minor in Psychology. She gained managerial experience working in retail while living in New York City. From the Big Apple she moved to Thailand. Shannon emerged herself village-bound as an English teacher, served the community as a tutor and sponsored several charitable functions. Upon her return back to the states Shannon is now a certified Sommelier and is a fourth generation B-21’er. In her spare time Shannon enjoys traveling, reading, writing, Qigong/Tai Chi, rock climbing, sky diving, wakeboarding, and boating. |

Mark

A Florida native, Mark was born & raised in the Tampa area. Mark has been in the wine & spirits business for about 24 years... the past 16 years at B21. Mark's specializes in all spirits plus wines from the US, Australia & Bordeaux, France. He often travels to Italy & France.
Mark has a degree in Business from the University of Florida, class of 1982. He & wife Virginia have 3 wonderful children; Jasmine-13, Aaron-10, & Marshall-8.
Mark enjoys travel, activities with his family, basketball & is an avid Florida Gators fan. He loves sushi, a great steak and spicy Thai food.

Steve

Born in the Bahamas & raised in Jupiter, FL Steve has been a bay area resident for the last 23 years. He has spent most of that time in the wine industry, including the last 15 years at B-21.
Steve tastes hundreds of wines at April’s VinItaly Wine Fair in Verona and his quest to bring all the best Zinfandels to B-21 took him to San Francisco for the Zinfandel Advocates and Producers (ZAP) Tasting this January. Steve loves great wine and great values but he is especially keen on the wines of Italy, Bordeaux, The Southern Rhone and Australia. He will always be a geek for Zinfandel. Steve graduated from The University of South Florida in 1988 with a degree in Marketing.
Steve enjoys spending time mountain biking and playing basketball when not wasting time with video games (It really improves hand/eye coordination). And of course he loves to talk about wine. Stop by anytime and bend his ear.

Julie was born and raised in Lewiston, NY, which is between Niagara Falls and Buffalo and an area full of vineyards. One of her first jobs as a teenager was hand harvesting grapes at a nearby vineyard. Julie has been with B-21 since 2002. Julie's favorites are Champagne, US sparkling wines, Riesling both German and domestic. Julie has an extensive retail background and worked as a Sous Chef in Sanborn, NY before moving to Florida to enjoy the sun and sand. Rhett is a native of Florida, a graduate of The University of Memphis and a lifer in the wine and liquor industry. His gustative interests have gravitated towards French wines and foods that well accompany them. Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne, along with various white wines of the Loire Valley, Alsace and Germany are his primary focuses. When not with his nose in the glass, Rhett can often be found seated in the sunshine reading a book. |

Summer was born in Danville, Kentucky and moved to Florida for the first time at the age of 6 months. Since then, she has lived in Kentucky, Indiana, Virginia and Tennessee, but has returned to make her home in Florida. She also spent four years in Latin America (Costa Rica and Venezuela) and is fluent in Spanish. Summer graduated from Lee University with a B.A. in Communications. She had 3 years experience in the field of Marketing before beginning at B-21 in 2002. Summer's favorite wines are from Bordeaux and Australia! With a passion for computers since she was a child, she loves graphic design. In her free time, she enjoys taking pictures as an amateur photographer and spending time with her husband Eric and their daughter Kaylea.
