I exclusively use B‑21 for my online wine purchases. I may check around on other sites to see pricing, but B‑21 is always at least the same price, if not less. The website is easy to use. I typically purchase cases and try to take advantage of any free shipping offers. Since I don't like to wait around the house for delivery (UPS needs to verify age), I just have it shipped to the local CVS in town. It's usually there for pickup in less than a week of purchase.

Ordering was flawless. FedEx however, first confirmed delivery for Thursday, then for Friday, and finally for Monday. So it wasn’t two day delivery, it was six. That’s not on B‑21, but FedEx and I want to make that clear. I’m very pleased with B‑21.

Constructing a state-of-the-art winery in the early 2000s as a relative newcomer to the region, Bodegas Resalte was founded in the medieval village of Penafiel along the prized “Golden Mile” just east of Vega Sicilia. The fruit selection for this wine focuses on three towns—Fuentenebro, La Aguilera and Pedrosa—and small hillside parcels where the vines are 50 years old. The juice heads into new barrels (90 percent French) for malolactic conversion and then 18 months of aging. Rather than any overt oak tannins or scents, it is the succulent quality of the fruit that comes through in this wine’s damson-plum richness, layered with savory meatiness and earthy spice. The smoke and chocolate tones that developed over its time in oak are completely integrated into those layers of flavor, the wine all about delicious richness.
