I exclusively use B‑21 for my online wine purchases. I may check around on other sites to see pricing, but B‑21 is always at least the same price, if not less. The website is easy to use. I typically purchase cases and try to take advantage of any free shipping offers. Since I don't like to wait around the house for delivery (UPS needs to verify age), I just have it shipped to the local CVS in town. It's usually there for pickup in less than a week of purchase.

Located in the shadow of the Sierra de Tolono mountains, Remelluri’s stratospheric rise in quality began with the return of Telmo Rodriguez to his idyllic family estate in Labastida in 2009 after an 11-year absence, his drive to champion sustainable viticulture while identifying the uniqueness of each vineyard earning him the title of “poster boy for Rioja terroir driven wines” from Decanter. Sourcing the fruit for the Labastida blend from local contract growers as a separate line called “Lindes” (or borders), the 28 distinctive Labastida vineyards are located close to the mountains at altitudes from 450 to 780 meters and away from the Ebro River, planted in a combination of limestone and calcareous clay that enhances aromatics and contributes a backbone of energetic minerality. Blending mostly Tempranillo with 5% Garnacha, the vines for the 2018 Lindes de Remelluri Labastida range to over 80 years of age, enjoying a unique microclimate protected from Atlantic winds with warm days and cooler nights that favor extended ripening and build structure. Produced with grapes from suppliers, the 2018 Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de Labastida comes from a cooler and wetter year not without challenge. A blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano, it fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in barrels of different sizes and origins for 13 months. This is more reticent and serious, with a grainy sensation on the palate, beautifully textured. It has more austere tannins. This is probably the finest vintage for this wine so far. 2018 has produced many great wines. 87,200 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2020.
