The 2020 La Canoca followed the 2020 vinification and élevage, 10% full clusters with indigenous yeasts and aging in used 500-liter oak barrels until the following harvest. They harvested a little earlier than in 2019; it was a cooler year, and the wine has a little less alcohol and more freshness. It's nicely textured, with very fine chalky tannins, and is quite round and evolving with more red than black fruit. There was one 500-liter barrel that filled 700 bottles. The other barrel went to the village red.
