The white 2021 Terroir Históric Blanc comes from a very good year complicated by lots of rain during the harvest. It's a bit reductive from the recent bottling some three months before I tasted it, and the wine needs a little bit of time in bottle or in a decanter if you open it soon. They have lowered the skin contact; it's mostly direct pressing and just a small part of whole berries. It has 13% alcohol, moderate ripeness and some volume and Mediterranean character. 10,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2022.

A fresh, composed white with a subdued note of reduction and terra cotta to the dried nectarine, herb, stone and apple aromas. This is pure and textured on the medium-to full-bodied palate, showing nice bite with some citrus-skin bitterness at the end. Supple, low to medium acidity, but enough to provide freshness. Drink now.
