I exclusively use B‑21 for my online wine purchases. I may check around on other sites to see pricing, but B‑21 is always at least the same price, if not less. The website is easy to use. I typically purchase cases and try to take advantage of any free shipping offers. Since I don't like to wait around the house for delivery (UPS needs to verify age), I just have it shipped to the local CVS in town. It's usually there for pickup in less than a week of purchase.

Newly arrived in stock, we have a small parcel of Meursault gems from one of the appellation's great under-the-radar domaines. Notching serious press from both Burghound and Inside Burgundy, Latour-Giraud's 2022s are top-flight performers that can stand toe-to-toe with the Lafons and Roulots of the world at a mere fraction of their prices.

The 2022 Cuvee Charles Maxime is a razor-sharp buy for white Burg fans, carrying Outstanding and Top Value designations from Meadows, while Jasper Morris calls it "true to its Meursault roots ... fine, precise, and thoroughly promising." Stepping into the realm of the sublime, the 1er Cru Genevrières and 1er Cru Perrières are emblematic expressions of these prized terroirs. Meadows' 94-point review dubs the Genevrières "one very classy wine," and he recommends straight away to "buy it if you can find it." Finally, the Perrières is simply a stunning representation of Meursault at its very best, a Five Star wine with 97-point potential according to Morris, who declares it "a brilliant wine with exceptional personality."

The only caveat here is limited availability, so savvy collectors will want to lock in and pull the trigger without hesitation, as our small allocation won't last.

Some light green reflections in the primrose yellow colour. A stricter nose, perhaps a touch of sulphur. This may also appear more backward coming after the Charmes. Then a vast wealth of fruit on the palate and now we see the real wine. It maintains the herbal note I associate with Genevrières, alongside golden fruit at a perfect degree of ripeness. The fruit and the acidity weave in and out of each other. I would not want the fruit to be riper but it is full of charm as it stands, and kept in place by the precision of the structure. Very fine.

Firm reduction masks all the aromas except an interesting hint of exotic tea. There is again both good vibrancy and freshness to the finer still, but not denser, medium weight flavors that are almost delicate yet certainly don't lack for punch as the strikingly long finale is almost painfully intense. This is bone-dry but not especially austere and overall, one very classy wine. Buy it if you can find it. *Sweet Spot, Outstanding.*
