I exclusively use B‑21 for my online wine purchases. I may check around on other sites to see pricing, but B‑21 is always at least the same price, if not less. The website is easy to use. I typically purchase cases and try to take advantage of any free shipping offers. Since I don't like to wait around the house for delivery (UPS needs to verify age), I just have it shipped to the local CVS in town. It's usually there for pickup in less than a week of purchase.

Here it is, the single most impressive value stunner from our November trip to Burgundy. Made from a 0.8-hectare parcel of 60-year-old vines and fermented mostly in 600L puncheons, the Viré-Clessé Breillonde is a flat-out stunning representation of the appellation and a mind-blowing value at its price. I was immediately awestruck by its incredible aromatic complexity, ranging from deep citrus confit and poached pear to heady jasmine to spicy ginger root, while pure limestone minerality sits in the background. A step up in weight and density from the regular appellation bottling, the palate displays thrilling intensity and perfectly integrated acidity that frame flavors of acacia blossom, Bosc pear, Granny Smith apple, and candied ginger. As with the nose, an ultra-fine limestone minerality provides a brilliant foundation for this stupendous expression to gain in depth and complexity over time. I’m confident that you won’t find a better Chardonnay for under $20 in our store, and it surely outclasses many offerings at twice its price or more. There is simply no reason not to load up big on this show-stopping future best-seller.
